The 27th Annual World Airline Road Race in Ottawa, Canada, September 3rd - 6th, 2008 is an annual run/vacation event that enables participants, friends, and family to fully experience various worldwide destinations. This unique event attracts approximately 3,000 participants and guests. Most attendees are from the airline industry, but in recent years The World Airline Road Race has attracted a growing number of non-airline participants who are interested in vacationing in a popular tourist destination, to meet new people from around the world, to enjoy the many special social events that take place during the race week and for the runner a chance to compete in the 5K and/or 10K runs. The World Airline Road Race continues to fulfill its original mandate to provide a worldwide athletic event, promote travel within the airline industry and to foster friendships among people of the world.

Last year's event in Sydney, Australia saw approximately 150 participants on the Jetblue team along with dozens of members on other airline teams. Let's not let good old Southwest go unnoticed! Sign up today!
